A woman called the police station after killing 3 members of the family, relatives say someone else is involved

Police have arrested a female member of the same family for allegedly killing three members of a family at a house in Kadamtali in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka.

The woman reported the matter to the police after killing her parents and sister, said Shah Iftekhar Ahmed, DC of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Wari Zone.

"The victims are Mehzabin Moon's father, mother, and sister. Her husband and daughter are undergoing treatment. Mehrabian called us and told us that he had killed her and if we were late he would kill two more," she said.

Mr. Ahmed said that after receiving the news, they rushed to the spot and found a three-room house on two floors and the bodies of their parents and sister lying scattered in one of its rooms.

Neighbors, however, say they have never felt any resentment in the family. They said none of them had any problems with the other residents of the rented house where the incident took place.

Liaquat Mridha, a neighbor, said the family had no problems with the other tenants and did not have close contact with them.

"They've been here for three and a half years. They don't get along with anyone. They don't talk, they don't talk to anyone. There were no riots or complaints. They lived like themselves. They lived in their own flats," he said.

But how such a terrible dissatisfaction or dispute arose within a non-partisan family that a woman killed her parents-sister-that is the big question now.

The woman's husband and children also drank the same tea that the police had given to them.

However, a close relative of the family said that in the condition in which the bodies were lying, they thought it impossible for a woman to kill her parents and sister alone and leave them in one room.

Police and eyewitnesses say the bodies were handcuffed in a room.

Police officer Shah Iftekhar Ahmed said that during the preliminary interrogation, Mehzabin had admitted responsibility for the incident out of anger. Exactly under what circumstances the incident took place is subject to further investigation, he said.

"She said she had a personal grudge against her family. Her parents were against her sister. Her father was in exile and married there. She had been in the country for three months. Her mother used to force her two sisters into anti-social activities. There were some grievances. Relationship. He came to his mother's house yesterday, crushed her sleeping pills and mixed them with tea, and killed her by suffocating her. "

He said various incidents had taken place inside the family with Mehzabin before. They think that the main cause of the murder will be revealed only after investigating them.

"Killing three people like that ... there's someone else involved - I think, but the police can get the rest out. He told us, we heard."

However, some relatives of the family told the BBC that they were hearing about the unusual relationship between the husband and sister of the arrested Mehzabin's sister. Extreme dissatisfaction had been prevailing in the family for a long time.

On the other hand, the police say that the unusual relationship between the family was also mentioned in Mehzabin's initial statement. Earlier, Mehzabin's mother's body was set on fire, according to her relatives.
